My little helper

Grey loves to help me with whatever it is I am doing. It's pretty cute to see her try. Here are a couple videos and pics of my little helper.

Helping me sweep.

She loves to help me with dishes, but this time she realized what else she could do. All I can say is like father like daughter. Grandma Julie said this is what Ryan did when he was little and eventually he could climb up on the cupboard. Oh my!
This vacuum is so cute. It makes the sound and she really thinks she is helping. On this particular day she went all over the house with this thing. So adorable.

Daddy's Home

Ryan has been on the road for a long time and he's finally home! We really missed having him around and Grey was so excited to see him. She was eating dinner when he walked in and she wanted down, which is weird for her to want to get down from eating, and she hugged him tight and just layed on his shoulder. It was the sweetest thing. I just had to share this with all of you!

Grocery Trip

So today I went to Broulims with my sister in law Jamia. On our way to the check out there was a display of Hostess donuts and I just couldn't pass them up. I had the munchies. So I grabbed a crumb donut package and got in line. Grey wanted to hold them, which was nothing new. She always has to hold something that I grab. Anyways, so we are in line now and I am turn my back for...lets say....30 seconds as I'm unloading the cart, I turn back around and Grey has the donut package open and she has half a donut in her mouth and one in each hand. Oh geez.....Grey!!! It was the funniest thing. We laughed, the broulims man laughed. (wished I'd had the camera.) I managed to pry one of the donuts out of her hand and let her have the other one. She loves food and now she loves junk food. Great.

A Few Pictures

I had all these pictures I wanted to share. Hope you enjoy them.

New Trick

Grey found a new way to carry her cup around yesterday. I don't think it was on purpose, but she thought it was pretty cool. She kept twisting her body and watching the cup sway back and forth on her belly. She left it there forever, but then got mad when she couldn't get it out.
The cup inside her shirt.

Get it out Mom!!!

Let it Snow!....and then let it stop!

Ok, so I haven't seen this much snow for a long time! It started snowing last week and hasn't stopped. Yesterday it snowed all day long and then the wind started blowing in the late afternoon. I'd say we had a blizzard! It was wild wind and snow blowing everywhere, huge drifts, cars off the road. We had our Hammon family Christmas party last night and we ended up turning it into a sleep over due to the road conditions. Crazy times! When we got home this morning we had huge snow drifts in front of our apartment and the snow blew right up to our door.

It's fun to see the snow at Christmas time, but I think we can call it quits for now. We have enough to last us for a couple weeks. Ryan is working for the city of Idaho Falls plowing snow, so if it stops snowing then he doesn't have to work, so lets hope it doesn't snow on Christmas!!

Pictures of the snow piles in the middle of the road.

Grey bein cute!

Merry Christmas!!

Butterfly Birthday Party

Our Thanksgiving!

Grey turned the big ONE on Thanksgiving this year. What a fun time for all of us! We started the day with blueberry muffins, Grey's favorite, and a few gifts from Mommy and Daddy. We then spent the day with both of our families, which is a gift in itself, for a all of us. Grey loves to play with all her cousins and Ryan and I love being close to family and getting the chance to hang out with everyone. We have so much to be thankful for this year! With it being Grey's birthday I couldn't help but think about the day she was born and how grateful we are that she is healthy and here with us today! What a great day to celebrate your first birthday!

Slowly, but surely...

The tree is on it's way up. Christmas tree that is. I cleaned today and made room for the tree and decided to put it up while Grey was sleeping. We will decorate it this weekend. Can't wait! I don't even think Grey has noticed it. I was worried she wouldn't stop bugging it, but so far she hasn't even touched it. Lucky me!
So I'm probably the first person to put up my tree, but I haven't been able to for two years, so I just couldn't wait any longer. I'll post pictures when it's all decorated. Happy Holidays!!
