We are Moving!

Moving day is here! I have been busy this week packing and refinishing some furniture to get ready to move into the house! The house has to look good, so that means our furniture has to too.  Here are some pics from this week. I'll post pics of the house when it's all set up! 

She just can't stay out of anything!

This is what the dresser started out as. I sanded it and painted the edges red.

Then painted it black and sanded the edges so the red could show through.

In this pic the knobs aren't on, but it now has new knobs and looks brand new!

I also refinished the antique, white high chair. I decided to paint it black to match our table.

The end table was the same as the big dresser and I painted it to match. 

I repainted this shelf. ( yes Jade...this is the shelf that has been painted numerous times.) But I like this finish the best. It will stay this way for a while, if not forever.

Easter Fun

This last weekend Brooke and I went to Utah to spend a couple days shopping and then we went over to Edie's in Evanston and stayed for a day. We had a great time! On Saturday there was an easter egg hunt, so we decided to take the kids. It was fun; Grey and Elly were very anxious to start, well not really, they just wanted to run, but we had to hang onto them until they said GO. They each ended up with a few eggs and it was a great first easter egg hunt for them. Enjoy the pics!

10 Things I LOVE about my LiFe!

These are the ten things in my life that I love, that make me feel alive and happy.So here it goes - in no particular order:

1. I must start with Ryan!! I am so glad I found him and that he is a part of my life. I love him more and more everyday!

2. Grey is also my #1 love! She is my life! 

3. I love having the title of "Mother." It makes me feel important, needed, responsible and loved!

4. I'm addicted to Pepsi. I love it and don't think that will ever change.

5. I love riding with the sun roof open! It's just so fun!

6. I love making things for other people. I love to see the look on their faces when I give them my creations.

7. I love my big 'ol family! There is never a dull moment with this bunch.

8. I love drawing up home plans. Who knows, maybe someday I'll live my dream!

9. I love sunny days! Who doesn't? The feel of sun on my skin is the best!

10. I love road trips! So Fun!

We got to go Outside!!

We have been blessed with warmer weather this week, so we have taken advantage of it and spent a little time outside. Grey loves to walk around outside and when it's time to come in she gets so mad. It's been really fun! It's nice to have Ryan home to join in the fun with us. We miss him so much when he has to leave. He's gone almost every other week for work. I know it's hard for him to be gone so much and I want him to know how much I appreciate his hard work and all that he does for Grey and I. Love you Ryan!!
